Waite Specialty Machine is seeking an experienced laborer/sawyer to join our team. Responsibilities include: Rigging, Material Handling, Operating a Forklift, Overhead Crane Operator, Horizontal Band Saw Operation
Job Functions:
- Identify, measure and cut materials with few mistakes
- Prepare orders for shipping
- Operate overhead cranes and lift trucks
- Needs to communicate and take/follow directions well
- Keep area organized, clean and safe
Skills
- Demonstrates good basic math skills
- Able to read drawings and sketches
- Able to operate all saws and shears in the department
- Able to use a variety of small hand tools
Personality and Character Qualities
Must be dependable, punctual and self-disciplined. Able to work with little supervision, is honest, enthusiastic and has a positive attitude.
